Stuart E. Eizenstat will head the US delegation at the Holocaust Era
Former Deputy Treasury Secretary and Under Secretary of State Stuart E. Eizenstat will be the Head of US delegation on the Holocaust Era Assets Conference. Stuart Eizenstat was President Jimmy Carter's Chief Domestic Policy Adviser, and Executive Director of the White House Domestic Policy Staff. He was President Bill Clinton's Deputy Secretary of the Treasury (1999-2001), Under Secretary of State for Economic, Business, and Agricultural Affairs (1997-1999). He also has served as the U.S. ambassador to the European Union from 1993 to 1996 and as co-chairman of the European-American Business Council (EABC). In 2008, the Ambassador Stuart E. Eizenstat received Professorship in Jewish history and culture at the University of Carolina
