Practical Information for Journalists
Accreditation
All media representatives are requested to apply for accreditation at http://www.eu2009.cz/en/media-service/accreditations/accreditations-263/ by Thursday, 18 June 2009. The accreditation badges can be collected either at the press conference on Friday 26 June 2009, from 4.00 p.m. at the Žofín Palace, Small Hall, or at the accreditation desk at the Prague Congress Centre (entrance 9) on Sunday 28 June 2009, from 8.30 a.m. or Monday 29 June 2009 from 8.30 a.m.). For security reasons, journalists and media representatives without accreditation badges will not be allowed into the events for journalists.

Friday 26 June: 4.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m. Žofín Palace Small Hall, 226 Slovanský ostrov, Prague 1
Saturday 27 June: 9.00 a.m. - 10.00 a.m. Prague Congress Center, Entrance No.9

Events for Journalists
Within the Holocaust Era Assets Conference, journalists will be admitted to the opening press conference on Friday 26 June 2009 from 5.00 p.m. at the Žofín Palace, Small Hall (the conference will be held in English and consecutively interpreted into Czech). The accredited journalists can attend informal discussions on Saturday, working sessions on Sunday and Monday plenary session from 9.00 a.m. at the Forum Hall. If you are interested in this plenary session, please come to Entrance 9 by 8.45 a.m. The accredited journalists can attend both the morning plenary session finishing at 12.30 p.m. and the afternoon session in the Forum Hall between 1.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.
Interpreted from English to Czech, the closing press conference will take place in the Small Theatre (ground floor) at 5.00 p.m.
Press Room
Equipped with the PCs, Internet connections, telephones, faxes, printers and copy machines, the Press Room will be situated on the third floor of the Prague Congress Centre in Room 3.2; RJ45 cables for notebooks and laptops to connect to high-speed Internet will be provided as well as WiFi connection. The workstations will be available on the first come first served basis. The Press Room will be open on Monday between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. and on Monday between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
HOST BROADCASTER
The official host broadcasters of the Czech EU Presidency will be Czech Television (Česká televize) and Czech Radio (Český rozhlas) – the Czech public broadcasters – that will provide radio stations and television channels with audio-visual materials from the sessions.
